Celebrity married couple Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy are once again reuniting on screen, and TheWrap has your first look at their new role. The stars will be part of the premiere episode of “Accused” Season 2 on Fox.
Titled “Lorraine’s Story,” the first episode of this new season will see Huffman as Lorraine, a woman who embeds herself into a family after claiming to see a psychic vision of their missing child. Macy’s role has yet to be announced. The episode will premiere on Oct. 1.
From “24” and “Homeland” showrunner Howard Gordon, “Accused” is based on the 2010 British series of the same name that was created by Jimmy McGovern. The Anarchist, a new play written and directed by David Mamet is presented on Broadway at the newly refurbished Golden Theatre 252 West 45th Street. The production stars two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone, who has previously appeared in Mamets The Woods, All Men are Whores, The Blue Hour, The Water Engine, Edmond and The Old Neighborhood and three-time Academy Award nominee Debra Winger, whose previous stage credits include How I Learned to Drive and Ivanov at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts and The Exonerated in New York. Winger will be making her Broadway debut in The Anarchist.

Producers Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel announced that the American premiere of The Anarchist, the new play about politics, money, religion and sex, written and directed by David Mamet. The production will star two-time Tony Award winner Patti Lupone, who has previously appeared in Mamet's The Woods, All Men are Whores, The Blue Hour, The Water Engine, Edmond and The Old Neighborhood and three-time Emmy Award winner Laurie Metcalf, who was nominated for a 2008 Tony Award for her performance in Mamet's November. The Anarchist, which marks the sixth collaboration between Richards, Frankel and Mamet, will open on Broadway in Fall 2012.

So, the Smithsonian kicked out a video piece by late artist David Wojnarowicz called A Fire in My Belly out of an exhibit because some alleged “Christians” complained about images of Jesus in it. (Wojnarowicz was part of the Cinema of Transgression movement.) The Huffington Post has a good rundown on the controversy and who’s been showing the video in protest of the protest. This week I was introduced to the website of filmmaker/author Shade Rupe, who helped me out with my Chicago Underground Film Festival post the other day. He’s written about a ton of interesting stuff, some of which you can read online or purchase.
