Ever since M. Night Shyamalan announced in 2015 that he was working on Split, a “psychological thriller,” fans of the superhero cult film Unbreakable have been wondering whether the long-awaited sequel was finally in the works. Well, there is less reason to wonder—as our inside sources have come back with a resounding "Yes!"
Split is about a man with multiple personality disorder, and what happens when that man (James McAvoy) kidnaps three girls. The general theme—of the misunderstood loner that has an untamed beast within—is obviously similar to the story of David Dunn, the hero in Unbreakable, who suffers quietly as he discovers who he is and the meaning of his life.
We decided to do some digging to see if the similarities between Split and Unbreakable were merely thematic,...

Spoilers! X-Men: Apocalypse is now in cinemas, and hasn't impressed the critics. But, more importantly, what’s your opinion?
Beware: All The Spoilers
Our review of X-Men: Apocalypse is online already (you can click here to see it, if you like). Looking around the web, it seems that a lot of the other critical notices have been quite mixed.
Bryan Singer’s latest mutant-infested slice of blockbuster spectacle has been met with a lukewarm response by the film reviewing world, then, and even spawned a Change.org petition to – ahem – ‘stop Disney from paying critics’.
But, more importantly, we’d love to hear your take. What did you - our wonderful readers - think of the film, and all its thrills and spills?

Need additional explanation? Look no further. But watch out - we have to slap a huge Spoiler Alert on this post, as it's pretty much the "explain everything" breakdown that should be ignored until you've seen it. With Christopher Nolan's sci-fi Interstellar now playing in theaters, fans are already breaking down and analyzing the complex plot of his sci-fi space exploration adventure movie. For those that have seen it and are ready to delve into it further, this beautiful infographic from Turkish designer Dogan Can Gundogdu (@dcgundogdu) shows the paths of each astronaut and explains a lot of "what happens" in the big picture. Again, this is only for those who have seen the movie already! Final warning: there are big spoilers below. Here's the timeline infographic for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar direct from Dogan Can's Behance page: For more graphics work by Dogan Can Gundogdu visit his design website at frame-tale.

Final Warning What The Rumor/ Spoiler Is: In short, the rumor/ spoiler claims characters in Star Wars: Episode VII will scurry around the movie trying to find Luke Skywalker in order to stop a tremendous evil. At the end of the movie, that evil will turn out to be none other than Luke Skywalker. It.s a pretty badass curveball and one that would continue the legacy of the Skywalker Family going rogue. Why We're Here: To figure out what this means, we assembled a team of experts to weigh in on the Making Star Wars story. They are Cinema Blend Movie Content Director Sean O.Connell, Cinema Blend Movie Editor Eric Eisenberg and Geeks Of Doom scribe Adam Frazier. What Are...

Take a break from the hectic news of Hollywood with our weekly look into the world of "what if". Fresh fan fiction happens weekly here at Cinema Blend on Short Story Saturday. This is our latest short story entry... "Corey Feldman and the Legend of Margarita Mack". Final warning: None of what follows is real. This is a work of fiction. Don't take it too seriously. This fedora makes me look like a circus hipster. Or it would, if not for the little white index card I wrote .press. on before I stuck it in the brim. Thanks to that I look like one of the kids from Newsies grew up, forgot to shave for a year, and then became a circus hipster. It.s a small difference, but an important one. Both the hat and the card are there because Corey Feldman wants them there. Rest assured I...

So even if you don't watch Game of Thrones you've probably realized that something happened on the newest episode. That something was the Red Wedding and it damn near...

Okay, Spoiler Warning noted, ready to move on? Final Warning?? A source close to the production has provided us with the following pieces of information on The Amazing Spider-Man 2. There are some details we got hold of that we won't post now, but we will reveal one major - though not entirely unexpected - spoiler. First up, Electro (Jamie Foxx). We're told he will not be wearing anything close to his classic green and yellow outfit, and to "think Ultimate version". Again, not really unexpected. The character's civilian alter ego Max Dillon will be an Oscorp employee - oh, and that pic Webb tweeted with the morgue number? Nothing at all to do with Venom (no Eddie Brock appearance either) it's actually where Dillon is taken after his "accident". We're told there will be no Green Goblin in this movie but Lots of teasers and foreshadowing for the next...

If you don't want to be spoiled, stop reading now as there are Major Spoilers Ahead (and that's your Final warning). In today's Amazing Spider-Man #698, it is revealed that Doctor Octopus has somehow switched minds with Peter Parker and is now in possession of him. That of course means that Peter is trapped in Otto's dying body, a body which goes into cardiac arrest at the conclusion of the issue. An unexpected and shocking twist, although exactly how long this has been the case for remains to be seen as it is never made abundantly clear in the comic itself. Many fans are speculating that it has been the status quo since the conclusion of "Ends of the Earth", but that doesn't make a lot of sense because it is only in this issue that we really notice the change in Peter's personality before the big reveal. With still two...

Having been lucky enough to attend the star-studded premiere of The Dark Knight Rises last night, I can gladly tell you that Chris Nolan’s epic conclusion to his Bat-trilogy is awesome.
After a few hours of reflection on the auteur’s grand, emotional and exciting swansong, I’ve put together 10 reasons as to why The Dark Knight Rises will have you picking your jaw up from the floor.
But first, if you haven’t seen the film yet I implore you not to read on. Chris Nolan intends his audiences to go in knowing as little as possible, and Tdkr will be a far richer experience if you go in unspoiled.
Final warning: if you’ve not seen the film and you choose to read on, you are going to ruin it for yourself – make no mistake.
10. Nolan Breaks The 3rd Film Rule
How many trilogies maintain their quality into their third installment?...

**Warning** You Will Hate This Get those Gmail tabs open and sign into AOL Asap (Dad), because you’re going to want to e-mail this post to everyone you know who is terrified of ventriloquist dummies. And that’s a trick sentence, because Everyone is teriffied of VDs. I mean, I can’t even read Ventriloquism For Dummies without cold chills Prefontaining up my spine. Wooden dummies are The. Worst. So, of course, when we saw the not-at-all brain ruining video over at the NY Times of actor Gary Oldman all painted up like a reanimated wooden fever dream, well, there was really only one thing to do… Make A Gif Wall Of It. Presenting The Worst Thing Your Eyes Will Ever See: A Gary Oldman as a Ventriloquist Dummy Gif Wall. A rumor regarding Christopher Nolan.s anticipated The Dark Knight Rises surfaced online, though it.s hard to determine whether the piece of information is a serious plot spoiler or just common sense based on all of the facts we already know about the sequel. Needless to say, this is spoilerific news and if you want to be completely surprised by potential plot developments in Nolan.s third Batman adventure, it.s bets that you just click away to another Cinema Blend story that doesn.t involve the Dark Knight or his brutal adversaries. Final warning... Still with us? Ok, here it goes. From the minute Nolan revealed that Tom Hardy would play Bane in Rises, Batman fans have speculated that Nolan wants to break Batman.s back . only to have the Caped Crusader build himself back up (or .rise.) to reclaim Gotham from the muscle-bound criminal. Now why on...

James Franco, who at any given time is working on at least a dozen different projects while also attending graduate school and possibly even teaching classes, is in a new short film from controversial filmmaker Harmony Korine. The short, called Rebel set to premiere at the Venice Biennale and rumor has it that it contains a .real gunfight. whatever that means, and apparently it also definitely contains a bunch of nude women hanging out with James Franco. Oh, so that.s why he did this. The first image from the shot appeared today at Animal New York and it contains those nude women with Franco. It is of course, very Nsfw. Warning: The following photo contains nudity and is Not Safe For Work. Don.t click on the thumbnail if you don.t like breasts. Final Warning! Nudity follows. Don't scroll if you don't want to see it.

If you.ve seen the red band trailer for Your Highness you probably think you have an idea of just how rated-r this movie will be. A little drug use, Natalie Portman in a thong, lots of swearing. The usual stuff you.d see in any modern comedy or Oscar nominated ballet movie. But wait, there.s more. Your Highness stars Danny McBride and James Franco as a pair of knights on a quest. One of them takes it seriously, the other is Danny McBride. In the following new clip from Your Highness, McBride and Franco become ensnared in a booby trap. Please take the word .booby. very literally. Warning: The following clip contains nudity, and lots of it. Don.t scroll down to watch it if you.re underage or at work and would like to keep your job.
