- Nick Marshall, now a judge, is a former cop turned district attorney. Now, he has always had faith in the system, but has seen that the system has eroded to the point where the criminals know how to use it to their advantage. After his family is killed, he decides to go after criminals whom he believes have escaped certain prosecution. If he has to dismiss a case, but it's quite obvious that the person is guilty, He and three other people, Gibbs, a wisecracking street kid, Moon, a former con man, and Cat try to stop their next scheme or get evidence that is needed to convict them.
