No advertising agency would ever have the personal contact details of their staff in a folder that the general public could see, especially on something as flimsy as a post-it note. This is a breach of confidentiality.
When Murphy is photographed, the date says 05/09/89, and at the arraignment, it is said the murder occurred on (Monday) the fourth of September, 1989, but the date is given in order it would be recorded in Canada, where this movie was actually made, and not the United States, where it is set. If the date was written that way by an American, that would represent Tuesday the ninth of May, 1989, as opposed to Tuesday the fifth of September. This kind of error has occurred in other U.S. shows filmed in Canada, such as MacGyver and Booker, where the one writing the date must be Canadian.
