- The French-Canadian VHS release on the Videoville Showtime label was distributed under the French title 'Grand-mère mange les pissenlits par la racine' meaning 'Grannie is eating the dandelions by the roots', a different title than the one that was used in France which was of course 'Les mémés cannibales'.
- In Spain only the censored cut was released on DVD on the "Troma" Collection.
- Troma's release the censored cut. Some gorier scenes were shot at the time of production, but in the end, producers chose not to include them in the film itself. Troma did include them as a bonus feature. The German producers has since reinserted the scenes in sales to other countries.
- The French-Canadian VHS release on the Videoville Showtime label contains an alternate cut of the film not approved by the director.
