Who's the Boss spin-off
safenoe27 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I actually remembering watching some episodes of Living Dolls upon its release, especially as Michael "The Waltons' Learned was one of the lead performers, along with Halle "Monster's Ball" Berry and Leah Remini. The series wasn't half bad, and I think it could have been a contender if the network had given it more time to grow.

On reflection, I sometimes wonder if Living Dolls was the inspiration for Models Inc., which debuted in 1994 and was itself a spin-off of Melrose Place, which itself was a spin-off of Beverly Hills 90210. Anyway, it's hard to believe Living Dolls debuted 35 years ago.

Misfire wasting a good cast
budikavlan21 August 2002
This show had a pretty incredible cast as you can see from the listing, but if there was ever an actress *not* to put in a sitcom, Michael Learned is she. She's a terrific dramatic actress, and may have a wonderful sense of humor, but she has a more somber demeanor than anyone I've ever met. I don't know what the producers were thinking. This story of a modeling agent and her houseful of young clients might have had a chance under other circumstances, but it wasn't anything special. It was spun off from "Who's The Boss?" but later in that show's run--so that wasn't any help.
