This is the only "Dirty Dozen" movie that has a woman as a member of the Dirty Dozen. She is Lt. Carol Campbell and is played by Heather Thomas.
The dozen are armed with M3 submachine guns, called "grease guns" because of their resemblance to a piece of equipment used to lubricate grease fittings in automobiles and heavy machinery.
