The cover of this film doesn't give away that this is actually a ghost comedy starring Jacky Cheung as Kit, who was saved by a gentle ghost named Yuk (Maggie Cheung). Kit's sister, Kam (Carol 'Do Do' Cheng) wants to have a successful career and confides in madam Big Sister (Pik-Wan Tang), who happens to be the grieving mother of Yuk.
Carol Cheng delivers her usual stammering and sometimes frustrated style humor and Pik-Wan Tang deliver her role with command and eloquence. Jacky Cheung and Maggie Cheung had good chemistry together and delivered some sentimental scenes, from Cheung's ghost character falling in love with Kit (Jacky Cheung), to the harsh reality that a human and spirit cannot co-exist.
The first scenes of the supernatural activities gave the film some suspense, but it is unfortunately drowned out in the slow plot at times. Still, it isn't a bad ghost comedy.
