- Steven vomits up a gross, formless organism. It rolls under the bed, causing it to shake, then turns into a terrifying creature.
- The ghosts attack the family while in the car in the garage, a major scene shows the crescent wrenches methodically smashing the headlights. Then the car breaks through the garage door and drives away.
- Flashbacks of the first "Poltergeist," (the coffins coming out of the ground and the house colliding into a ball.)
- Wires come out of Robbie's braces and start trapping him with the wires.
- When Steven goes to sit down on a chair, he gets startled by lightening and is flung across the room.
