Throughout the film, when the various thugs attempt to attack Wells, they only
ever attack her one at A time, despite the fact there are often two or more and this makes little sense, as the thugs should have easily overwhelmed her, making carrying a gun almost completely useless and she shouldn't even have been able to draw it much less use it.
At the beginning of the film, during the assault scene, when Wells in in the car, there is a brief scene were the main assailant is seen hitting Wells, he clearly misses the slap and yet there is a sound effect, but he never connects. It's clearly A simulated slap.
Wells the main female in character goes into a gun shop to by the gun, there is only one problem with this. Even in the 1980s, ballistics was still a accepted science and would have been used to link a gun to the multiple murders in the film, and she bought if from a gun shop, were not only could the gun shop owner recognize her, but could certainly link the gun to her. She is supposed to be a female vigilante, and she should have been smarter then this. She should have bought it from a illegal gun dealer were they would have wiped the serial numbers, making the gun a ghost gun. This makes very little sense, and is a plot hole.
