When Colonel Yin is going to have Opelca executed, he reads the charges and refers to him as "Sergeant Opelca". Opelca was a Corporal.
Throughout the movie, Ho is referred to as "Captain Ho", however in the closing credits, his name is "Colonel Ho".
The events of the film are supposed to take place in 1972 and 1982, but in Missing in Action, the lady from the state department describes him: "Oh. Well, let's see. James Thomas Braddock, 38 years old. Colonel in the Army Special Forces. Retired. Prisoner of war for eight months. Missing in action for seven years, escaping last year. And you are now in Saigon at the request of the President to see if there are any more Braddocks in Vietnam."

Braddock is seen using an M1911A1 pistol during the POW rebellion. During the final showdown with Col. Yin, his pistol appears to be a Colt Combat Commander but is a M1911A1 with a Commander style hammer.
Throughout the movie, one of Braddock's men is wearing a machine gun ammo belt over his shoulders like a bandoleer. The rounds in that belt are not even dummy cartridges, but clearly blank movie rounds.
When Colonel Yen has the Australian journalist executed against a tree, Yen is standing next to the journalist as he takes a bullet through the brain. By all accounts Yen would been hit by the exiting bullet as Yen was standing directly in the line of fire when the journalist was executed.
When Braddock jumps from the helicopter the pilot is clearly seen in the doorway
When Braddock is crossing the bridge from the camp, an NVA soldier leaves the tent with an L1A1, but when he's shown crossing the bridge, he's seen holding an M16.
When the Vietnamese soldier falls down the cliff face during Mazilli's escape the camera zooms in and the wooden limbs of the dummy are clearly visible.
Col. Yin tells Braddock that if he signs the contract, he will be transported across the border into Thailand. Vietnam does not border Thailand. It's next to Laos, then Thailand.
