General Hospital spoilers claim Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) just couldn’t help herself when she saw a man in need being brutally beaten in an alley on the waterfront. You’d think she knows better than to interfere with thugs in that part of town, but there she was — unarmed — hopping out of her car and chasing off the bad guys.
Realizing the wounded man was Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) didn’t stop her from helping him back to his hotel room after insisting he be seen at the hospital — a request he repeatedly denied.
General Hospital Spoilers — Jason Morgan Is Going To Have His Hands Full
Camping out in his hotel room with him to see him through the night might not have been what she planned on that evening, but they parted ways the next morning pleasantly surprised by the other side they’d seen in one another.

General Hospital spoilers suggest Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has no idea where Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been for the last two years, although she’s aware he’s been working as an informant for the FBI.
Coming Up On General Hospital
It makes no more sense to her than it does to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but she’s certainly not about to turn her back on the guy.
Jason is her best friend and arguably the real love of her life. She trusts that he must have a good reason for betraying everyone the way he did, and she’s just happy that he’s still alive.
So when she finds out the truth about how Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) has had Jason over a barrel — all because of her — she’s going to make a move no one will see coming.

There’s a new order in the court: Kapil Talwalkar, who played court clerk Neil on NBC’s Night Court, will not return for the upcoming Season 2, TVLine has confirmed.
A source tells TVLine that the show wanted to take things in a different direction creatively, with lots of different characters and personalities, more in the vein of the original Night Court. But the source emphasizes that the cast and producers are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Talwalkar, and he will always be a part of the Night Court family.

Khalid has enlisted Summer Walker for a new version of his single “Eleven.” Khalid released a solo version of the song back in January.
The flirtatious track has Khalid checking out a crush as he cruises Los Angeles after dark, with Khalid and Walker meeting up with a crew of drag racers before engaging in a high-speed race of their own. The pair fend off villainous racers who seem to be out to get them until it’s just the two singers left. Before a winner is announced, a dance break ensues,...

Khalid touts the virtues of refusing to settle for less in “Know Your Worth,” his collaboration with British DJ-production duo Disclosure. In the new video, the singer teams up with a dance crew, whose joyful choreography peppers the clip.
In the Daniel Russel-directed visual, Khalid delivers the uplifting track’s words of encouragement as he performs on a dimly lit stage. Dancers dressed in colorful garb reenact the sentiments of the soothing lyrics, which address abandoning bad relationships and moving toward supportive ones. “You don’t know your worth/All...

Khalid and British DJ-production duo Disclosure have reunited for a bouncy new love song, “Know Your Worth.”
The track boasts a classic Disclosure beat, with crisp drums and big bass buoying an ebullient mix of synths and vocal samples. Khalid’s drawled croon glides easily over this beat as he pleads, “Find someone you know who’ll put you first/Find someone who loves you at worst/Gotta keep, gotta keep, gotta keep your head up.”

Khalid’s Grammy week is off to a good start. The singer-songwriter was announced today as Reebok’s latest celebrity ambassador, following in the footsteps of artists like Ariana Grande and Cardi B, who have both appeared in campaigns for the footwear brand.
As part of the global partnership, Khalid will appear in Reebok’s “Sport the Unexpected” campaign this spring, which the brand says celebrates “creativity, experimentation and self-expression.” Expect to see the ads running worldwide.

Glenn Close is attempting to win her first Oscar with “The Wife,” but she could also celebrate a first at the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards. If she prevails at both ceremonies, it’d be her first Globe and SAG for film.
Close has two Golden Globes and one SAG, but they were all for her television work. She took home both awards for her performance as Eleanor of Aquitaine in the 2004 TV movie “The Lion in Winter” and nabbed a Best TV Drama Actress Globe for the first season of “Damages” in 2008.
See Glenn Close (‘The Wife’) would be the third oldest Best Actress Oscar winner
The actress’ six Oscar nominations don’t have great correlation with either the Globes or the SAGs. Her first five Oscar nominations came during her breakthrough in the ’80s: Best Supporting Actress for “The World According to Garp” (1982), “The Big Chill...

Happy Birthday to Connor Trinneer, who is 43, Ruth Pointer is 66, and since we just did a Pointer Sisters top five for Anita's birthday, let's do a top five for Glenn Close, who is 65 today. What are your top five Glenn performances? Here are mine: 5. "Serving In Silence," 4. "Maxie," 3. Mars Attacks," 2. "Jagged Edge," 1. "Fatal Attraction."A special Birthday Shoutout to Ae's own faboo Miz Liz!Speculation abounds that The Hunger Games could gross $125 Million when it opens this weekend.Things are not looking good for Own.As expected, John Carter's floppage is expected to cost Disney big bucks, to the tune of $200 Million. In ratings news, last night's Season Finale of The Walking Dead shattered records for basic cable.Unfortunately, Gcb was down 12%. Hopefully it'll stabilize soon if there's a chance for it to come back.Nicolette Vs.

It's a Reid day on the show as the doctor witnesses Chris injecting himself with personality serum. But will it take? Probably not.
Join us for the fun and refresh for updates!
Can I start by saying how very tired I am of this "Barbara kidnapped" storyline? It was fun for a few episodes, but it's now been stretched beyond all reason. But at least she's out of that warehouse, and can stop molesting that poor clown.
Speaking of which, yesterday's show was mostly expendable, but it did feature Will asking the question we've all been wanting to ask:
That outfit. Really, Henry? You look like you escaped from an all-male Rocky Horror Picture Show. And does Madonna know you stole her Breathless Mahoney wig?
2:05Pm Est: And we begin in the warehouse, where Henry (sans the Glenn Close flapper drag from Maxie) and Will enter to find ... nothing.

A Note: I will be returning to reviewing Streep movies soon but for now let's return to discussing Streep's competitive Oscar fields. I'll try to wrap up the 80s pictures very soon. I knew this month would be Streep heavy I had no idea how mired down in the 80s nostalgia we'd get. See also: Farrah & Michael Jackson.
1985
Six Oscar nominations is a lot for anyone but what is perhaps even more impressive / serendipitous about Meryl Streep's 1985 accomplishment is that Out of Africa, a big hit and Oscar champ, was her third Best Picture winner in seven years. That's quite rare. She would go on to lose Best Actress to Geraldine Page who was, at that time, the most nominated performer (8) never to have won the golden boy (Peter O'Toole now holds the record since he lost on his 8th nomination). Page died a scant 15 months later at 62 years of age.
