Susie Garrett was the only principal cast member of the live-action version not to lend her voice to this animated series.
The popularity of the series Punky Brewster (1984) inspired this Saturday morning cartoon for NBC. The network decided to use the same actors from the live series to voice the cartoon as well. To keep children's interest in watching, the magical Glomer was added to cause the children to land in one adventure after another.
The word "It's" never formally appears in the on-screen title and is only used to differentiate the show from the live-action production.
