On a cold night in January, George R.R. Martin sits inside the Jean Cocteau Cinema, a revival theater that he owns in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he has lived since 1979. The Cinema had been showing the first three seasons of HBO's megahit series Game of Thrones, which is based on Martin's still-in-the-works saga A Song of Ice and Fire. After viewing the ninth episode, "Baelor," in which the story's apparent hero, Ned Stark, is unexpectedly beheaded, with the screen falling to black, Martin sits quietly for several moments,...

Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage has never bothered to read any of the books that serve as the basis for his hit series, which returns for a fourth season on April 6th.
He made the admission on The Late Show with David Letterman, telling the host, "George Martin, our author, is probably going to kill my character soon because I mentioned that," while playfully wincing after his self-described "confession." "Now I can't read them now. Because our TV show is my day job. But I started to read it and I got confused.

We may never find out if Big Foot exists, who Carly Simon wrote “You’re So Vain” about, or whether Leonardo DiCaprio is dreaming at the end of Inception. Now, the Alamogordo city council has given the Los Angeles-based Fuel Entertainment permission to search the site for a film project and find out if one of the videogame industry’s...

Today From Software released a patch for their top selling franchise Dark Souls that will be available for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. This patch is being released in both Us and Pal. There are tons of different changes to the game, some will increase certain abilities other changes will decrease weapons or magic abilities.
Patch 1.05 is essentially the same patch that was released in Japan earlier this year, though here may be a few differences but they are unknown at this time. I have yet to play Dark Souls still, but after all the praise the game has gotten I will definitely need to move it up on my to do list. Probably during the Christmas lull is when I will get to the game, I just have so many great games I need to play it is unbelievable. Does anyone who has played the game have any recommendations...
