The main filming location was ''Babworth House'', a mansion house at Darling Point in Elizabeth Bay in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was vacant at the time of the shoot according to producer Jill Robb on the film's audio-commentary. She added that all the interiors, exteriors and garden scenes were filmed on location at this site.
