Back in the 80's, HK films were a lot like this. Slapstick films with fairly flimsy plots, made strictly for entertainment but not artistic purposes. Two friends run afoul of a gangster (called "Jaws" due to his big moth and teeth) and one gets tortured into insanity. They borrow money to go to Malayasia and is cured by a unconventional doctor. Once back, they meet two sisters, one in a wheelchair (Cherie Chung) and promise once they get money to get money for an operation to help her. You are not supposed to take this film at all seriously, it is pretty much pure nonsense. The problem is, it is not even good nonsense, its just all over the map crazy. I like some of these HK comedies but not this one, it has no cohesion. You can skip it.
