Jason has no wound in his shoulder, despite being stabbed deeply with the machete at the end of Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), which took place the day before.
'Part III' is supposed to take place 24 hours after Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), yet Jason's appearance changes drastically: he is noticeably taller and no longer has any hair or a beard.
(at around 1h 3 mins) When Debbie enters the shower, she still has her necklace on. But when she gets out, the necklace is no longer there.
(at around 9 mins) In the newscast at the beginning of the film, we are told "Ginny Fields miraculously survived repeated attacks by the ax-wielding killer." In Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), Jason did not use an ax in any of the death scenes. Jason doesn't kill anyone with an ax until Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984).
(at around 8 mins) After yelling at Harold, Edna closes the window, getting the curtain stuck in it. In the next shot, the curtain is no longer stuck but is hanging inside the window.
(at around 33 mins) After Ali breaks the windshield, the shot from the front of the car shows the glass breaks like a regular window indicating it isn't automotive safety glass. Safety glass has been required by law for new and replacement windshields since the 1940s.
When Debbie is looking through Fangoria magazine, the articles do not match the issue. The two articles, "Tom Savini: New Master of Magical Makeup" and "Twenty-Five Years with Godzilla", are from issue #1 but the cover is from issue #13. Fangoria #1 can be seen on the drawer when Debbie is deciding which one to read.
When they are loading "hay" into the barn and commenting about how much they have, it is actually straw, not hay. Straw is yellow. Hay is green.
(at around 25 mins) When Chris is getting her bags out of the van and Shelly surprises her, you can see Rick waiting in the driver's side rear view mirror waiting for Chris to scream, which is his cue to enter the frame.
(at around 1h 18 mins) Obvious stunt double when Chris is hanging from the window. The double has curlier hair.
During the opening sequence involving Harold and the clothesline, there is a foreign object on the lens of the camera - noticeable in the bottom left corner in several shots.
When Debbie strips naked to get into bed with Andy, you can see that she is wearing skin-colored pants.
Jason's white foam padding (giving him a more bulky and pot belly appearance) is visible under his shirt several times throughout the movie.
The back cover of the DVD states "... for another group of naive counselors". The main group of victims are not counselors, they are just Chris' friends, who she is taking for a getaway holiday to her parents' retreat in the woods.
About 8 minutes in The sheets are hanging to dry from being washed, however, you can see the lines in all of them from when they were folded in the packages.
When Shelley is running over the motorcycles, there is a small black smudge on the lens, in the lower right centre of the frame. It's still visible as Loco stands in the street shouting at him.
(at around 9 mins) Jason gets his clothing for this installment from the clothesline in the opening scene. However, when Chris has a flashback involving him (at around 50 mins), he's wearing this newly obtained outfit.
(at around 35 mins) A cameraman is reflected in the back window of the car, when Rick and Chris go for a drive.
(at around 37 mins) When Loco, Fox and Ali stand by the van before they steal the gas, the long black boom pole is clearly reflected in the back window of the van.

When Chris and friends stop at Vera's house to pick her up, she comes outside with no suitcases or bags, yet she is able to change her clothes throughout the movie.
Ali fills three fuel cans from Chris' van with the intention of burning down their barn. Loco carries one into the barn and Ali carries in the other two and sets them down inside near the door before being taken out by Jason. The gas cans were not seen since.
(at around 1h 6 mins) Shadow on Chuck's shirt as he walks downstairs to check the fuses.
(at around 16 mins) As Chris gets out of the van to pick up Vera, the boom microphone is reflected on the side of the van.
When the van is parked, after the two people are killed, a microphone is reflected in the side of the van.

When Andy is teasing Debbie with the yo-yo, it hits her nose. She says "that was close", but it actually really hit her.
When Chris and her gang first arrive at the lodge, they get out of the van and go running towards the lake. You can hear Shelly holler "Jeffrey" instead of Andy. Andy was played by Jeffrey Rogers.
Once Jason begins wearing the hockey mask it is plain to see that that no practical make up effects have been applied to Richard Brooker's face. This is most clearly visible when Jason approaches Chris through the broken window in the final act.
