Though she'd had a son, Cian, who had died of neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer that often starts in the abdominal area,...

Producing a TV drama series in a third world country can be a hazardous undertaking- particularly when Molotov cocktails are detonated in the city nearly every night.
That was one of the risks that Australian producer Mark Ruse faced when he spent the past year in the Bangladesh capital Dakar producing a 16-part series for the national broadcaster Btv.
Other occupational hazards included 100 days of strikes, violent street demonstrations, cars and buses being set on fire, and a cyclone. Despite all that Ruse tells If, .It was a lots of fun working around all these things to make a drama series..
He is partnered with Stephen Luby in Ruby Entertainment; their credits include Bed of Roses, Let Loose Live, The Murray Whelan telemovies and the movie The Extra.

“Drug War” or “Du Zhan” apparently marks the first time filmmaker Johnnie To directs a film directly on mainland China. As the title suggests, this is all about the good cops versus the bad drug traffickers. Here, you got drug mules to catch, drug dealers to follow and the occasional drug lord to apprehend ( or kill, depending on your mood ). Luckily, this type of material falls directly in Mr. To’s jurisdiction.
Of the two main characters, anti-drug unit captain Zhang Lei is played by Honglei Sun. He’s got the whole “deep voice” thing going on and has enough presence on-screen to keep you hooked. He’s got that “I’m-only-gonna-tell-you-once” kind of look on his face that makes him extremely enjoyable to watch.
His opposite, Timmy Choi ( played by Louis Koo ), starts the movie off...

With the biggest, greatest, most over the top action film of all time coming out on 19th August in the form of The Expendables (our review here), HeyUGuys is bringing you the ultimate run down of the kill count that these historic action actors have each tallied up.
From throat rips to decapitations, martial art assassins to robotic killers and Yippee Ki-Yay’s to Asta La Vista’s, they have dealt death in every way possible with every weapon imaginable.
Each death reaches the same conclusion but each actor carries it off in their own unique style, often adding a personal touch. Be it an Arnie verbal send off like “Stick Around” after being stuck with a huge knife against a post or adding some humour by playing games with the baddies like John McClane in Die Hard ” Now I have a machine gun, Ho Ho Ho”. A memorable death...

Former King Of The Jungle Christopher Biggins will join this year’s Dancing On Ice nationwide tour.
Although Biggins has never competed on the ITV1 show and was a pretty awful dancer on last year’s Let’s Dance For Comic Relief, he feels he will be able to judge contestants on their entertainment value.
Biggins will sit alongside former show inner Kyran Bracken and TV judges Karen Barber and Nicky Slater on the judging panel when the tour kicks off in Sheffield on April 8.
Contestants skating on the tour will be Hayley Tamaddon, Emily Atack, Mikey Graham, Gary Lucy, previous finalists Clare Buckfield and Chris Fountain and former winners Gaynor Faye and Ray Quinn.
