- One of the primary sets is a pub. So naturally, regular drinking and smoking (in the days where smoking was permitted in pubs) is shown. Some characters are sometimes seen intoxicated.

- In one of the specials, drug dealing is a big plot point, and cocaine and marijuana are referenced several times without detail but never seen or used.
