31 years ago today, the Gods in Glitter Heaven had a drunken orgy and immediately conceived and birthed an heir to the throne ... whom they dubbed Adam Lambert. Before he can take his rightful place as ruler, he must prove himself worthy by walking amidst the mortals and guiding them toward the path to salvation ... a path paved with studded bracelets, guyliner, and sheer fabulousness.
As we continue on this journey with him, let's stop to pay tribute to some of the reasons why he's made such an indelible impression. 31 Reasons, actually ... why we love birthday boy Adam Lambert
(In no particular order)
1. "Mad World"
2. He Caused Cover Boy Controversy
Adam appeared on the cover of Entertainment Weekly during his Season Eight run, becoming the first (and only) Idol contestant to achieve that recognition before the season's winner was announced.
3. He Gives Good Interview, Part One
As if anyone...

You know how some of you were saying in the comments that you couldn't tell if I liked Glee or not sometimes? Yeah. You're not gonna have that problem in this recap. They had me the first time they mentioned "The Island of Misfit Toys."
The teachers at McKinley are exchanging Secret Santa gifts, powered by Coach Bieste. Will, after enduring a "let's be friends" chat with Emma, draws Sue's name.
Brittany is decorating her locker for Christmas while Artie helps. "Last year I left my stocking up over Christmas vacation, and an entire family of mice started living in it," she tells him as she hangs an ornament. "Their Christmas gift to each other was rabies."
Artie, it turns out, wants just one thing for Christmas: For his parents to stop friend requesting him on Facebook.
"What are you asking Santa for?" Brittany asks him.
Artie is all, huh?...

There's never been a contestant quite like Adam Lambert on "American Idol." Actually, forget "Idol" — there's never been a major-label artist quite like Adam Lambert. So it's understandable that "Idol" — and music — fans are clamoring for any and all tidbits they hear about his still-untitled 19 Recordings/RCA debut, which hits stores on November 24. On "Idol," Lambert proved that he could rock just as loud as Axl Rose and deliver vocals as tender as Jeff Buckley, while on the "American Idols Live!" tour, the "rock gawd" turned David Bowie's "Fame" into a playful, sexual romp.
With all that creativity busting out of the seams (of his stylish trenchcoats), the album could go in a million different directions. No wonder we're all dying to know what it will actually sound like. The suspense is killing me!
Thankfully, Lambert has been dropping a few hints on Twitter this past week, so let's investigate.
