When Billy ascends to the top level of the restaurant to confront Dr. Land, only to find that he has apparently slit his wrists, the boxing bag and staircase from the fight with Hakim can be seen in the spliced-in footage of Bruce Lee. However, the boxing bag is supposed to be one floor below Dr. Land's office (on Hakim's floor).
Throughout the final scenes of the movie, spliced-in footage of Bruce Lee does not correspond with doubles. Facing and body orientation relative to his opponent switches from shot to shot.
When Billy arrives at the restaurant (end fight) it is midnight, but when he is fighting Hakim it is suddenly daylight, seen when Billy is pushed by Hakim and makes him break a paper window.
At the beginning of the movie when Billy, Anne and Jim Marshall were talking, Marshall told Billy that Charlie Wang was fished out of the harbour the next day but right when Billy goes to fight Hakim, behind him you see Charlie's dead body lying there.
When Billy goes to the weapons-level, he has a blue bako stick but when the camera goes close up to when billy throws down his nunchakus, the bako becomes green
Throughout the fight in the dressing room, none of the fighters show any signs of bleeding or injury - yet during the fights in the mansion, the climax and with Carl Miller, they show bruises and bleeds. In reality, if somebody were to be punched at least twice, chances are they'd bleed from their nose and mouths.
In the beginning of the movie, a scene where you can see Lee's face in the mirror of his trailer. It's obviously a cardboard cutout, as the neck below it moves freely about unconnected to the head.
During the last Billy Lo/Steiner fight, Steiner tries to hit Billy with two kicks. Each time we see Billy dodging the kicks, the foot is actually Hakim's.
In the nunchaku scene when Billy and Pasqual are dueling, Billy's second nunchaku bends, revealing it to be foam rubber.
Although it is known to the audience that this movie was completed using doubles for Lee's unfinished scenes, none of them even remotely resemble him. This causes a problem when incorporating the stock footage of the actual Bruce Lee into the current actions.
(See Trivia. Bruce Li, a well known Chinese actor and martial artist who does bear a very close resemblance to Lee declined the role.)
When Billy Lo is in hospital and he is drawing his disguise on Bruce Lee's picture his marker pen can clearly be seen just scribbling the bottom half of the picture, but when he reveals the completed picture a pair of sunglasses have been drawn on the picture which he clearly couldn't have drawn based on the movement of the pen vs the position of the picture. He then does some random scribbling to complete the picture, but it is clearly the same completed picture that he showed the first time.
In the opening scene when Bruce Lee from enter the dragon is shown. Bruce Lee really says, "You have offended my family." The quote for this film is, "So you got in here, finally." If you watch Bruce's lips carefully he doesn't pause even for a second like the quote from this film does.
When Carl steps in to protect the doctor as he chases after Billy he can be heard saying "Somebody take care of the doctor" but his lips are clearly not moving when he says this line.
The camera's shadow falls on people during Billy Lo's funeral.
In the warehouse fight, when Billy kicks the black-suited bad guy off his motorbike, you can see the cables supporting him as he hits the concrete.
After the mansion fight scene. Stick says, "There was something there I recognized." Yet he clearly wasn't there when the fight happened. If he was there then why didn't he help him?
