The film's closing credits state that this picture was: "Filmed on Location in England at Stratfield Saye House, Hampshire; Littlecote House, Wiltshire and Spain".
Much of the Sudan War depicted in the film runs through much of 1898.
The correct spelling of Faversham is Feversham, while the correct pronunciation of Feversham is Faversham. The silent versions, Four Feathers (1915), The Four Feathers (1921) and The Four Feathers (1929), use the Faversham spelling in credits and screen captions, presumably so that the audience "hears" it right in their minds. Zoltan Korda's 1939 version The Four Feathers (1939) does the same in the opening credits. All versions since 1978 spell the name Feversham, as it is in the book.
