In Latin America, the series was known as "Los agentes de S.I.P.O.G."; the name was chosen because it sounded similar to "El agente de C.I.P.O.L.", the translated name for The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964). In this translation, S.I.P.O.G. were the initials of "Sociedad Internacional para Proteger Ocasionalmente a la Gente" ("International Society to Protect People Ocasionally").
