Shortly after "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" wrapped, Eric Idle took the musical Neil Innes along to create a sketch comedy series on almost no budget, set in Britain's heartland. The show looked at the programming of a local television station in the smallest county in Britain. Popular features included documentaries, news shows, dramas, and the ever-present musical numbers, all a bit looney. It ran until Christmas 1976.
