Series star Khigh Dhiegh took no billing in the show's credits, and is considered the only leading actor in a network television series to appear without screen credit.
Series star Khigh Diegh removed his name from the credits after a dispute with the show's producers. He had been promised creative input for the show to help avoid Asian stereotypes. Later, when he learned that producers had set aside his ideas and, instead, gone with their original plans, he turned his back on the show. He removed his name from the credits and walked away, effectively killing the program. The show ran for five episodes but Diegh only appeared in the first four.
