- TriviaAfter MGM acquired the show from Paramount, the crew tore up old sets that were used for MGM productions to make room for the new sets that were needed for the show. When Michael Landon removed flooring from one of the old sets, he uncovered the Yellow Brick Road from The Wizard of Oz (1939), which was still intact. Melissa Gilbert and the other kids got extremely excited when they recognised it.
- GoofsFeatured prominently in at least two episodes ("The Monster of Walnut Grove" and "The Music Box"), restless tree branches are seen and heard immediately outside the front upstairs window, next to the girls' bed. But at no point in the show did any such tree ever exist that close to the house.

Great and Cute Drama-series...
This TV-series is a classic! I love this show. It's great and it's cute...the cast is great and every episode of the series it´s extremely good. Melissa Gilbert is a magnifficent actress, she played her role very well from the start back in 1974 to the end in 1984.
