- Both versions released in America on video are missing the ending credits and the final shot of Belli stading by the ocean. Instead, it merely cuts to black.
- West German VHS version was cut by ca. 75 seconds (credits, murder of Rivalta/Rico).
- The French and UK StudioCanal Blu-ray releases of the film lack the final 5 minutes of the film (including the murder of Cafiero and the entire shootout on the docks). It cuts right after Paul Costello's character says "To the port" to the shot of Belli standing by the ocean and the ending credits. The German FilmArt Blu-ray, which was produced under license from StudioCanal, is fully uncut (and even includes an alternate ending which cuts to black right after Belli imagines himself getting shot, leading the audience to believe that he dies in the end). Although the transfer is otherwise the same as that used on the French/UK Blu-rays, the finale is taken from a lower-quality print than the rest of the film, possibly indicating that the original elements for those sequences were not archived correctly and are missing.
