To get out of prison earlier, a man fakes a suicide attempt by slicing his stomach open, forcing another guy to call the guards. Blood is pooling everywhere but the wound isn't shown up close.

A guy cuts off his finger with bloody results and people go looking for it. This is a rather comical scene.

Some subtitle versions may include strong curse words like 'fuck'.

Some of the Yakuza establish a racket over a painkilling drug to the people of Hiroshima.

Some people drink sake and smoke cigars.

The film's bleak tone and documentary-like approach makes the violence all the more realistic. Nobody in the film is presented as a 'good' or 'bad' person, so the morality is questionable.

Murder scenes can be intense because of the music and realistic camera work.
