For the record, Cleavon Little was one of the early choices to play Lamont Sanford.
Judy Pace agreed to do the long nude scene even though she had never done one before. But it was her first chance to be in a film role and she would do anything to get it, including taking her clothes off and standing around naked in front of a room full of male crew. She said in an interview that it wasn't a big deal because she felt nudity in films was almost the new norm at that time so it was expected of her and other actresses.
