- Several men are in the shower, nothing is shown, it is shot from the waist up
- The men in the chain gang often work shirtless.
- While the men in the chain gang are watching a very sensual scene comes up, a woman in a tight, thin dress washes a car, she bends over, her cleavage is shown, and she presses her body against the window glass and there is a close up of her. This can be seen in the trailer. No nudity is shown.
- The men are often shown in their bunks wearing nothing but underwear briefs.
- When the new men return from their first day of work, one of them is sentenced to the box. He undresses and his bare buttocks are seen from behind. It is not sexual.
- One character has a book describing an encounter and on two occasions reads out loud from it -- but it doesn't specifically describe sex.
- Later, when Luke is sentenced to the box, his bare buttocks are also seen.
Violence & Gore

- There is one instance of bloody violence towards the end of the movie.
- Very intense prison physical and mental violence. A raw box fighting between Luke and a big guy with a little display of blood. A convict gets beaten up repatedly with sticks. A prison ''boss'' is attacked by a convict who almost strangles him.
- The prisoners force a man to eat lots of boiled eggs. He lies unconscious on the table.
- Prisoners are seen being beaten by guards (not a lot of blood is shown).
- In several scenes Luke is badly injured and unable to stand or walk properly.
Profanity

- 'Son of a bitch' is used a couple of times
- A few mild profanities, but not very many.

- A dog's corpse is shown, it is said that he died of exhaustion from chasing after an escaped prisoner. There is no blood.
- 'The Man With No Eyes' is very intimidating.

- Toward the end of the film Luke is shot in the neck. Blood splatters on a window it is dimly lit and hard to see. Incredibly brief
