- TriviaAt the time this series was developed, Ralph Bakshi had an infant son who got mad whenever Daddy had to go to work. He would throw his bottle at Bakshi as he was heading for the door. This is what gave Bakshi the inspiration for "Diaper Man, the hero who fights villains with his mighty bottle".

A pleasant forgotten item.
I remember this cartoon, set in the fictional city of Goodhaven. The animation was a real riot! What was neat too, was the fact that each hero's name had something to do with their profession. Remember the animation and the strong voice that sounded out each hero's name at the beginning of the show? Strong Man was an auto mechanic, Kuckoo Man worked in a pet store (possibly a bird store?), Tornado Man was a meteorologist, Rope Man was a sailor, and Diaper Man was a baby. This was a Terrytoons cartoon. In fact, the same voice characterizations were used by the same actors in other Terrytoons cartoons. An example that immediately comes to mind is Possible Possum's voice on the Possible Possum cartoons. His voice is the same as Strong Man. Owloysius Owl's (also from Possible Possum) voice is the same as Tornado Man. But, that's part of the charm of these cartoons. It gives you the feeling that these were small productions with a few really cool minds working behind them. Does anyone remember Lariat Sam? Another Terrytoons production! Each episode was really short and done in five parts. I believe this ran on Captain Kangaroo back in the early '60's. They were hilarious!
