When Jody Wallis (Fabian) takes refuge from a rain storm in a closed hut, outside in the rain his short is soaked, but when he comes through the door inside his short is mostly dry with a few water spots on it.
Continuity issues are always a problem for 1960s Surf movies, and this one starts off with no exception. In the first surf scene everyone is on 4 ft waves, then suddenly on 6 ft waves, and finally when the boys are ready to leave the beach the waves everyone is riding are 8 footers. Then as the boys show their expertise, they are back on 4 footers again and someone in the crowd even comments that one of the boys is an expert small wave rider from California.
In the battle between Jody and Eskimo, as they are being tossed off their boards, they must swim to retrieve them. In the next to last ride for Esses, Jody actually grabs the wrong board by mistake. He grabs a yellow board broadside in frothing water, cut to Ess with the yellow board, and then cut to Jody with the correct board.
