The risen village girl pushes her arm up through the earth. Subsequent shots show no damage to her coffin lid. Later, Gina makes the padlocks drop from her coffin without unlocking them, revealing the vampire's mystic power to open their sealed coffins from within.
During an unexpectedly brief stop in town, the stage coach abandons Marianne Danielle at the inn, with just the clothes on her back. Later that evening at the castle, she awakens in a night gown, with a dressing gown laid out on the bed. The next day she tells Van Helsing that her luggage is at the castle.
In the opening scenes, the windows on the coach almost all alternate between open and closed from shot to shot.
The shadow Of the cross at the end. The bottom of the cross would have been blocked by the buildings shadow.
The village girl who is resurrected as a vampire is buried too close to the surface as she is emerging from her grave.
When Van Helsing stakes the Countess, the blow falls well below where her heart ought to be.
When the coachman pulls the log out of the road, the thin end of it wobbles (revealing it to be a rubber mock-up).
In a closeup of the Baron in the mill, the contact lenses that change his eye color are clearly visible.
Despite the fact the characters are all wearing winter clothes, in several night scenes crickets and frogs can loudly be heard as if it is summer.
When Marianne opens the window of her room to go on the terrace, it is an ordinary window whose ledge is one yard above floor; when she arrives on the terrace, the window goes down to the ground.
In a closeup of the Baron in the mill, the seams of the fangs are clearly visible. After he bites van Helsing, the fang caps appear transparent.
Despite the title of the film, there is no person named 'Dracula' in the movie.
In many scenes involving Baron Meinster in bat form, the strings holding up the prop bat are clearly visible.
It is ridiculous to believe that Baron Meinster can be held prisoner by a simple chain attached to his ankle. Being a vampire, he has super human strength, and could easily break the chain off his leg. Secondly, he could simply change himself into a bat and slip out of the chain. Silver is traditionally a weapon used against vampires (yes, not just werewolves) and the chain looks silver, but there's no exposition.
Frau Lang is wearing formal evening wear, complete with jewels, in the morning. Considering the fact that she is teaching comportment to young ladies, this is an inexcusable faux pas.
Even though Van Helsing is left barely conscious by the Baron's bite, the Brides make no attempt to attack him while he is vulnerable.
