Unfortunaltely very dated

Watching the series in succession I noticed that Gerda-Maria Jürgens pops up every now and then, in very different roles. First as a murdered prostitute, then as a protective mother, and here as a bar maid. Since no one else appears so often in such a short succession I assume she had some good connections…

This is unfortunately a very easy see-through episode with spends a lot of time trying to blow sand in the eyes of the viewer but to no avail. The idea of a perfect alibi might have been new in 1959 but it has been used hundreds of times since than. The only interesting moment was an outing to Amsterdam to interview the mother of the suspect. But most of the story was overdone and boring.
