The abandoned movie studio location in the film is the former Charlie Chaplin Studio on La Brea, which later became A&M Records (and was the site where "We Are the World" was recorded).
The music was composed by Perry Botkin Sr., who also composed music for The Beverly Hillbillies (1962), with some of the music from this movie used in the television series. Fans of the television series will recognize this familiar theme around the 13-minute mark of this movie.
