When the captain looks at Ruth Stanton Bowman's hand to see if there is a wedding ring, the close up shot is of a hand without nail polish. The next longer shot shows Ruth Stanton Bowman's nails to be polished.
At the swimming pool scene during the voyage, we see a girl in a dark or black swimsuit just about to dive into the pool, then the camera angle changes, we then see a girl in a light colored swimsuit just about to dive into the pool instead.
During the opening credit and at the beginning, during the departure the name on the ship's bow is the "Ile-de-France", while in the next image when the the ship is at sea it's clearly the "Queen Mary"
In the beginning, John opens the door to the cabin and then picks up Ruth to carry her over the threshold, then the point of view changes to the inside of the cabin and John opens the door once again.
At the 19:31 mark, when Mrs.Bowman meets with Dr. Manning in the Captain's office, the light bulbs in the wall sconce to the left of the door (upon entering) are flame-shaped. However, at the 54:02 mark in the film, when Dr. Manning returns to the Captain's office, the light bulbs are rounded.
When the Captain is talking to Ruth on deck outside of a cabin, the shadows of the characters are in almost opposite directions, a result of the lighting used.
Near the end of the film John phones Ruth to meet him on deck now. She runs out of her room and leaves the door wide open where most would at least close the door, if not lock it.
