The first guest's secret was that he had a live cobra in his basket. The panel guessed it quickly, as they recognized 'Mr. X", who ran a reptile garden, from an earlier appearance on the show. Then Gary Moore played the flute at the basket, and the cobra came out and danced! The man claimed that cobras cannot hear, but are reacting to the vibrations and the nearness of the flute, which the cobra views as a threat! The second guest was Marion Marshall, whose secret was that he was the only man to defeat Heavyweight Champion Sonny Liston. They guessed this quickly, mentioning that he had a fighter's body and 'distinctive ears'. Marshall then predicted that "Clay" could beat Liston. Clay (Ali) did this two tears later. Marshall said that he lost two subsequent fights with Liston, and he then ran a gym. He then posed holding Gary Moore's head at arms length while Moore flailed away helplessly at Marshall. After a vintage commercial for Toni permanents, Janet Leigh came on, promoting her new movie "The Manchurian Candidate". The two women panelists left the room. Gary Moore and Leigh then showed photos of 'nutsy' hair styles. Bill Cullen and Henry Morgan then were challenged to create their own hairstyles on Betsy Palmer and Bess Myerson. Of course, they both botched the job, and the women looked ridiculous. A vintage commercial for Dream Whip desserts followed. Then the women were permitted to put wigs on the men. This episode aired in the middle of the Cuban Missile Crisis, a time of great international tension. The country needed escapist humor.
