The first TV series to tackle the day-to-day struggles of a disabled character. Star Susan Peters was a promising actress in the mid-1940s who had a contract at MGM and an Oscar nomination under her belt when she was shot in a hunting accident in 1945 and permanently paralyzed from the waist down. She spent the rest of her life in a wheelchair.
The show's last episode was 28 Dec 1951.
