Don Corwin : Stop talkin' like a cop. Where does *she* fit in?

Bill Fellows : A guy named Bender was knocked off, we think, by a guy named Maddux, we think, in the club where she was singing, we know.
Don Corwin : That's the trouble with you cops, you think too much and you know too little.
[Don starts to walk over to Georgia]
Bill Fellows : Don't move too fast, Don. That dame could be dynamite.
Don Corwin : You're tellin' me.
Bill Fellows : She's already spoken for, to put it quaintly.
Don Corwin : Yeah? By whom?
Bill Fellows : The guy with that handy gun.
[shakes head]
Bill Fellows : I wouldn't mess around his gal.
