"Lux Radio Theater" broadcast a 60 minute radio adaptation of the movie on
October 21, 1946 with 'Billy de Wolfe' reprising his film role.
Paramount acquired the filming rights to this Augustus Tucker novel on 18 August 1939, and made the movie seven years later.
One of over 700 Paramounp Productions, filmed between 1929-49, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since; its earliest documented telecast took place in Seattle Friday 29 May 1959 on KIRO (Channel 7).
