Alec Baldwin has been dominating pop culture headlines for the last year thanks to his trumped up impression of America's current Commander-in-chief. On Sunday, the laughs came at the star's expense, as friends and former co-stars roasted the 59-year-old actor in the Spike TV special One Night Only: Alec Baldwin. Taped on stage last month at New York City's Apollo Theater, the show didn't have quite the same bite as the famed Comedy Central roasts. But there were a few notable burns from those in attendance, including Robert De Niro,...

In 2007, after returning to the music scene with the full E Street Band, Bruce Springsteen released the critically- and commercially-adored album, “Magic.” A fierce and cutting portrait of American disillusionment from track to track, the music marked a high point for the legendary rocker’s resurgent post-9/11 work, but it also signified the politically-progressive singer’s most pessimistic take on a society he’s been writing about — and representing — since the late ’60s.
Then, just two years later, the insightful artist released an album that could very well be his most hopeful ever, certainly since his return to prominence. While infectiously enthusiastic and admirably experimental, “Land of Hope and Dreams” was a significant step down in caliber compared to “Magic.” But it was what reflected our mass perspective in 2009, and more than that, it was what we needed to hear.

Man of the hour! Idris Elba is officially the first man to be featured on the cover of Maxim magazine. The Avengers: Age of Ultron star, 42, landed the cover of the September issue, becoming the first man to do so after decades of sexy photo shoots with half-naked female models and actresses. While big stars from Christina Aguilera to Cameron Diaz to Megan Fox have posed for Maxim in lingerie and skimpy getups, Elba is fully clothed on the September cover. Standing in stark contrast to those [...]...

Man of the hour! Robert Kardashian sure is loved. The reality star's famous family were quick to send him well-wishes on his 28th birthday via Instagram on Tuesday, Mar. 17. Sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian were just some to post throwback photos of their younger brother, but it was matriarch Kris Jenner that really gushed about her baby boy. Happy Birthday to my one and only brother Robbie!!!! I remember this Vegas party of yours like it was yesterday????! I love you so much and can't wait to [...]...

The Novak Djokovic Foundation gala had the models mingling last night in NYC. Man of the hour Novak Djokovic had his girlfriend, Jelena Ristic, by his side to host the dinner honoring his foundation, which aims to provide sports activities, nutrition, and better education to youth in his native Serbia. Despite losing the grand slam title to Rafael Nadal in the men's finals of the Us Open on Monday evening, last night was a celebratory occasion for Novak, who had the support of a good-looking cast, which included guests Naomi Campbell, Camila Alves, Goldie Hawn, and Nicky Hilton. A bevy of Victoria's Secret models like Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Toni Garrn - who is currently linked to Leonardo DiCaprio - and Karlie Kloss were also in attendance. Anna Wintour and designer Donna Karan also took a break from their busy schedules at New York Fashion Week to round out the...

The new Superman movie has been out for some time now and most folks who want to see it probably have and those who want to comment on it probably have. I shied away from Man of Steel as a topic simply because everyone has had their opinion but the questions I want to pose here are at somewhat an odd angle. If you know me, you’re not surprised. Still, there will be spoilers so, if you haven’t seen the film and don’t want to be spoiled, avoid the rest of the column.
I’ve written here and there that the character of Superman needs to be re-examined and re-invented every so often if it is to remain relevant to it time. I think I read the director (Zack Snyder) and/or its writer (David S. Goyer) and/or its producer (Christopher Nolan) say something to the...

Man of the hour Rupert Sanders was seen visiting his wife, Liberty Ross, on Thursday. The "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, 41, is reportedly desperate to salvage the remains of his marriage to the actress-model, 33, since scandalous photographs of him embracing Kristen Stewart, 22, were published in Us Weekly on July 24.
The cheating scandal spurred comments from both Sanders and Stewart, more dramatically from the latter. The typically private Stewart made an emotional and candid admission and publicly apologized to her then-boyfriend of five years, "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," Stewart said in a statement.
Sanders followed up with a similar statement the same day,...

Our final video from last night’s Wild Bill premiere is an interview with the Man of the Hour, Dexter Fletcher, alongside cast members, Sammy Williams and Leo Gregory. Unlike most of the interviews we do at premieres, this one took place after Dexter had introduced the film, so it’s a little less rushed, and a lot more relaxed.
For some reason, we’re not sure whether due to exhaustion or the fact that we were holding him up from his dinner, Dexter seemed to have been possessed by a football manager at a post-match press conference. Still, if anyone ever makes a sequel to Bend It Like Beckham, at least they know where to start looking for someone to play the coach.
You can see our two previous interviews and the rest of our coverage of Wild Bill including our review here.

Sweet Mother of God!!!
Last night's Teen Wolf still has my mouth on the floor. I'm having a hard time trying to type and keep my jaw in place, but I will manage both tasks to discuss this epic episode with you guys. There is so much to discuss that I don't even know where to begin, so I'm just going to jump right into the thick of things.
Allison Knows Everything!
Not only did Allison find out about her heritage and birthright, she also accidentally found out about Scott's own secret as well. To make matters worse, Allison found this out right after she and Scott finally reconciled after Scott told her how much he loved her. Talk about heart-ripping stuff!
The opening scene with Allison driving and replaying her conversation with Kate was a brilliant blend of writing, acting, and direction and Crystal Reed simply owned tonight. Allison's...
