In the bedroom scene with Preston, Kit is on the telephone with Julia Broadbank, Preston is holding her hand, then Deidre runs in and sits on her lap. Both of Kit's arms are around her, it's a tight two-shot. Then it cuts to the master-shot and Kit suddenly has a lit cigarette in her hand which she smokes through the time Deidre leaves the room all the way until she is talking to Millie and Miss Carter in the Living room.
Kit is in bed smoking a cigarette. The cigarette is almost to her finger and the next moment it is longer.
When Kit enters house after Millie runs up stairs near beginning of film, backdrop of house across the street changes from shot to shot.
When Millie throws Kit's framed photo toward the entrance door, it shatters causing various pieces of glass and the frame to scatter all over the entrance floor and the noise causes Deirdre to come out of her room which is located near the entrance. But shortly thereafter when Deirdre runs back to her room, the various broken pieces are no longer there.
When Kendall comes to the Marlowe apartment in his Navy uniform, Harriet places his cap on a table so that the insignia is facing toward the edge of the table. But later on, when Marlowe goes to hand him his cap as he gets ready to leave; the insignia is now facing in a different direction, more toward the center of the table.

As the group of college girls drive Kit away, Millie turns her head and calls out Kit's name but her lips do not move.
In the bedroom scene with Harriet, she says it's almost ten and she thought Kit should think of getting up. Kit says she should, yet she she's wearing full evening make up and false eyelashes.
