When Maria and Mrs. Castro meet Robert in the sky room, Maria holds her overcoat lapels with both hands. Between shots she appears with both her arms hanging.
Four boys enter Mr. Acuña's house with flowers and notes from Robert to Maria. The second to enter has his left arm hanging. In the next shot, when they are seen side by side, all of them are holding the flowers with their both hands.
Before he leaves Mr. Acuña's room, Xavier Cugat takes a sheet of paper from him and holds it unfolded. When he goes out the door the paper is folded.
When Fernando asks Robert what about he wants to talk to Mr. Acuña, he keeps his hands fingers crossed. In the subsequent shot he is holding a pencil.
After he delivers the invitation list to Mrs Acuña, Fernando holds the hat turned to his belly. Next shot he is holding the hat upside down.
During Davis's big dance number in Acuna's office, he tap dances over part of a throw rug. The sound of his taps are the same as when he taps on the hardwood floor of the room, revealing that the taps are dubbed onto the soundtrack.
Eduardo wisely wrote the love notes to Maria with his left hand so that his hand-writing would not be recognized. However, when he writes the goodbye note, he uses his right hand. Had he used his left hand as before, he might have been able to say he was just reading aloud a note that Robert recently gave him to forward to Maria.
