- TriviaThe punning title refers to Phil Baxter (I)'s novelty song, "I'm a Ding Dong Daddy from Dumas."
- GoofsWhen the dog is in front of the metal dog statue he named Daisy, he pulls his head up out of the ground and has a ring of grass and dirt around his neck. When he shakes it off and the grass and dirt fall to the ground, it disappears in the next shot.

Featured review
One of my favorites
The action and gags are not very inspired, but ever since I was a kid 60+ years ago, I have been impressed with the idea of a forbidden love and dealing with it. "Daisy! What have they done to you? They've changed you!"
