After Ward is sentenced to be hanged, a newspaper appears on-screen referencing the situation, however, Philip is spelled with two "l"s while in the credits his character's name only has one "l".
The movie commences with a quote, "Heaven hath no rage like love to hatred turned", which it attributes to Milton. The quote is in fact from William Congreve's play "The Mourning Bride".
When Philip and Ward shake hands at the table, saying they will meet in 10 years at the same time, Ward's napkin falls off the table.
