- [Chapter One]
- Tim Tyler: Spider Webb? Who's he?
- Lora Lacey: He's everything a man shouldn't be, Tim. A brutal killing crook.
- Tim Tyler: What's he doing with my dad's Jungle Cruiser? Do you think that...
- Lora Lacey: I hope not, Tim. The only way we can find out is through...
- [a black panther interrupts them]
- [Chapter One]
- Tim Tyler: S'only one thing we CAN do - spend the night up here in this tree. Pick any room you want.
- [Chapter One]
- Man #1: [standing too close to a caged wild animal] Ow! He scratched me!
- Man #2: Hey, his arm's opening!
- Man #3: Look out, he'll get you again! Stand clear!
- Man #4: Told you those black panthers are murder?
- Man #1: Shoot that black devil!
- Man #5: You try that and I'll shoot YOU! That black cat's worth $5,000 in Zanzibar!
- [Chapter Two]
- Mr. Spencer: Well, what're you doing out here all by yourself, sonny?
- Tim Tyler: My horse got away from me. I was following the Ivory Patrol. Have you seen them?
- Mr. Spencer: The Ivory Patrol? Why I've never seen them this far north. What's up?
- Tim Tyler: They came up to get the natives that attacked Mr. Conway's ivory safari.
- Mr. Spencer: "Natives" attacked Conway? That just can't be. Why, Jim Conway's blood-brother to half the tribes in Africa.
- [Chapter Four]
- Sgt. Gates: Wasn't a cat that got Tim, 'cause if it was there'd be marks on the horse.
- [Chapter Four]
- Tim Tyler: [with Batwonga savages around them] Can't we make a dash for it?
- Jim Conway: Well, they'd cut us to pieces in the open. I'd rather take my chances in these rocks.
- Lora Lacey: You don't think much of our chances, do you?
- Jim Conway: Not unless we get help from the outside. I don't know where'd they come from.
- Tim Tyler: I know. The Ivory Patrol.
- Jim Conway: My boy, that's three days ride from here.
- Tim Tyler: No, it's not. Sergeant Gates and some of his men are in a base camp not far from here. I can find 'em.
- Jim Conway: Well, you can't do that, Tim. The jungle's full of Batwongas.
- Tim Tyler: I'll get through somehow, Mr. Conway.
- Lora Lacey: But, Tim...
- Tim Tyler: [grinning] Don't you worry about me.
- [unarmed, rushes off]
- [Chapter Three]
- [sweet underscoring plays]
- Tim Tyler: All I know is Fang showed up just when I needed help. If it hadn't been for him, that lion woulda got me.
- Mr. Spencer: You really believe that he's trying to pay you back for fixing his wounded leg, eh?
- Tim Tyler: Sure looks that way, doesn't it?
- Mr. Spencer: Well, I'll believe it when I lay eyes on you.
- [Chapter Four]
- Spider Webb: Where's your father now, boy?
- Tim Tyler: You outta know. You've got his Jungle Cruiser.
- Spider Webb: Jungle Cruiser? Oh, you mean that armored tank. Why, we didn't even know it belonged to your father. We found it abandoned in the jungle.
- Garry Drake: Yeah, that's right. We found it.
- Tim Tyler: You expect me to believe that? You STOLE it from him, that's what you did.
- Spider Webb: Too bad you feel that way about it, sonny. You've got us all wrong. We want to help you FIND your father.
- Tim Tyler: So you can make him tell you where the elephants' burial ground is, eh? Well, I don't need your help! I can find him myself.
- Spider Webb: I'm sorry but you're not leaving here for a while yet.
- Tim Tyler: No?
- Spider Webb: And I wouldn't advise you to try it, because nobody can get out of this swamp alive unless they know their way through the quicksand.
- [Chapter Three]
- Tim Tyler: Well, Fang, old boy... So you're keeping an eye on me, eh? It's all right, fella, as long as you show up like you did just now. Well, your leg's all healed up. Say, fella, how 'bout you and me hunting up some supper? Listen, don't you go making any passes at my horse.
- [Chapter Four]
- Spider Webb: How would you find a man in the jungle?
- Mogu: I would have drums talk for me, bwana.
- Spider Webb: Could you find a white man that way?
- Mogu: Nothing move in jungle that some eye does not see.
- [Chapter Two]
- Sgt. Gates: Spider Webb? What's HE doing in the jungle? I thought diamonds were his racket.
- Tim Tyler: He certainly is a tough customer to take a chance on stealing an Ivory Patrol cargo.
- [Chapter Four]
- Jules Lazarre: [crossing the swamp with Tim in a fireman's carry] Listen, kid, don't do nothing to make me lose my balance. If you do, I let you go, and you drown in the quicksand
- Garry Drake: Better see that doesn't happen, Lazarre. That kid's worth his weight in gold to us, and if anything happens to him, you'll have to answer to Spider.
- Jules Lazarre: [to Tim] Just the same, you better don't move 'round.
- [Chapter Five]
- Garry Drake: Just what're you gonna do with the kid anyway, Spider?
- Spider Webb: I'm gonna keep him here until I get my hands on the ivories, then I'll turn him loose.
- Garry Drake: Turn him loose?
- Spider Webb: Yes, turn him loose - and forget to tell him how to get through the quicksand.
- [Chapter Eight]
- [Professor Tyler growls and screeches at the ape holding Tim]
- Lora Lacey: Why, he understands you.
- Professor Tyler: Sure. They've got a language of their own and I studied it for years.
- [Chapter Six]
- [Prof. Tyler sees Spider's party return to camp without Tim and fears the worst]
- Spider Webb: Get this, Tyler. If you don't tell me where the elephants' burial ground is, there WILL be a death in the Tyler family.
- Professor Tyler: There's only one thing can make me tell you that, Spider, and that is your guarantee of my boy's safety.
- [Chapter Six]
- Jules Lazarre: The kid, she's all right?
- Patrolman Berry: He's pretty full of sand and water but he'll do fine.
- Jules Lazarre: Then my job she's fini. I give myself up, Sergeant. I am Jules Lazarre. You have want for...
- Patrolman Berry: Jules Lazarre?
- Sgt. Gates: [smacks Kelly's arm] Never heard of you, Lazarre.
- Jules Lazarre: But I am Jules Lazarre. This man KNOW I am.
- Patrolman Berry: Listen. If the sergeant says we don't know ya, we don't know ya. Come on over and let me patch up that arm.
- Jules Lazarre: You mean, the Patrol, she no want me for prisoner?
- Sgt. Gates: Forget it, Lazarre.
- Jules Lazarre: [looking in or towards the camera] Sometimes I no understand even things what I know.
- [Chapter Five]
- Jim Conway: Well, just in time for supper, Sergeant.
- Sgt. Gates: Thanks, Conway. I haven't time. You can toss Berry a bone if you want to.
- [Chapter Twelve]
- Lora Lacey: Oh, Spider, please. It can't do you any harm now. You stole those diamonds in Kimberley and framed it on Donald. Won't you tell the truth, please?
- Spider Webb: [smiles] After what... you and your friends, the Ivory Patrol, have done to me, I should... do you a favor?
- [Spider laughs, coughs, and dies]
- [Chapter Twelve]
- Tim Tyler: Sergeant, have you seen Lazarre?
- Sgt. Gates: Yes! He's all right. He just had a prisoner.
- Tim Tyler: Gee, that's swell! You see, he and I figured that if we could get the, uh, Jungle Cruiser we could put a crimp in Spider Webb's plan.
- Sgt. Gates: Better than that, Tim. We're going to use the Jungle Cruiser to catch a spider.
- Tim Tyler: We ARE?
- [Chapter Twelve]
- Brent: Say, what do you propose the boys at the hideout will say when we tell them we left the others behind?
- Spider Webb: It was every man for themselves. You leave it to me. I'll take care of them.
- [Chapter Ten]
- Jules Lazarre: Is a funny thing. The elephant, she's the biggest thing in the zhungle, so we lose-a its tracks.
- [Chapter Ten]
- Jules Lazarre: What I think? I think the elephant have killed you, you come riding on his head.
- [Chapter Ten]
- Mahout: You take... ankus. I make you master... Bolo. You be good to him... he obey you.
- [Chapter Nine]
- Patrol Guard Rocky [Ch. 9]: We gotta work fast. We can't wait till tonight. We gotta spring ya now.
- Spider Webb: Now? In broad daylight? Why?
- Patrol Guard Rocky [Ch. 9]: I tell ya we gotta. The Tyler kid butted in
- Spider Webb: The Tyler kid. The Tyler kid got me in this jam. Once outta here I'll get rid of him if it's the last thing I ever do.
- [Chapter Eleven]
- Jules Lazarre: I have one funny idea. This graveyard, she's place where elephants go for die, yes?
- Sgt. Gates: Yes? What about it?
- Jules Lazarre: Well, this Bolo elephants, she no ready for die, yet. She don't want go there.
- Tim Tyler: I'll bet he's right. Bolo will go in any direction except that one and there must be SOME reason for it. Elephants are pretty smart.
- [Chapter Ten]
- Spider Webb: Speed it up, Brent. We ought to be there by this time.
- Brent: Well, if you want to risk a busted axel speeding over this rough county, it's all right with me.
- [Chapter Eleven]
- Jules Lazarre: [as Tim lies unconscious] We got elephant at top of mountain. I carry Tim up dere.
- Lora Lacey: An elephant?
- Jules Lazarre: But sure. Is very good friend from Tim now.
- [Chapter Ten]
- Spider Webb: [as to the elephant's graveyard] We're going up there to look for it as soon as we get rid of you.
- Lora Lacey: Oh, you're going to LOOK for it. You don't KNOW where it is. Well, I do.
- Brent: Say, that's right, Spider. She WAS up in those caves with old Tyler.
- Spider Webb: NOW tell your gorilla to shoot.
