- Janet Allison witnesses Art Holden and his gang hold up the Station Agent. When she identifies Holden to the Sheriff, the Sheriff gives Holden an alibi. Janet and Jim Fentriss then find Holden's secret hideout. - Arriving home after several years away at a finishing school in the East, Janet Allison (Muriel Evans) witnesses two gamblers, Art Holden (Robert Frazer and Snell (W.E. Lawrence) escape with a money chest taken from the railroad station. Jim Fentriss (Buck Jones), foreman of the Allison ranch, arrives soon afterward and, while escorting Janet to the ranch goes out of his way to avoid the outlaws. Janet accuses him of cowardice. At the ranch, "Drag" Harlan (George 'Gabby' Hayes) calls on Webb Allison (J.P. McGowan), Janet's father, and tell him he has been engaged by the state to hunt down the outlaw gang, and he suspects the Sheriff of being in league with them. Harlan also learns that The Yuma Kid (Bruce Lane, a member of the outlaw gang, is Jim's brother.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
