During the Sacrifice sequence, the priest holds a burning globe that has been anointed with fire. Two files of acolytes pass by him, pushing their globes near his to ignite them. The first acolyte, at screen right, pushes her globe near his but it doesn't light. She then quickly pushes it again towards his, but moves on when it doesn't ignite the second time.
When the Amahaggar Chief (Noble Johnson) falls to his death by being shoved into a fiery pit, you can see his feet bounce up just before the cut as he lands on an off screen mattress.
At 17:20, in a distance shot, the two dog sleds stop and Leo Vincey (Randolph Scott) runs to the lead sled. As Leo runs between sleds all shadows are small. When Leo reaches Dugmore at the first sled, in a close in shot, all shadows are long. In the next scene the sleds are again on the move and the shadows are once again small. The two scenes, distance and close in, where filmed at two different times in the day.
