This film is one of over 200 titles in the list of independent feature films made available for television presentation by Advance Television Pictures announced in "Motion Picture Herald" on 4/4/42. At this time, television broadcasting was in its infancy, almost totally curtailed by the advent of World War II, and would not continue to develop until 1945-46. Because of poor documentation (feature films were often not identified by title in conventional sources) no record has yet been found of its initial television broadcast. Its earliest post-WWII documented telecasts were in Fort Worth on 11/4/48 on WBAP (Channel 5), in Atlanta on 2/19/49 on WSB (Channel 8), in Los Angeles on 3/5/49 on KTSL (Channel 2), in Cincinnati, where it was shown in two parts on 6/12/49 and 6/12/49 on WKRC (Channel 11), in Philadelphia on 10/26/49 on WFIL (Channel 6), and in New York City on 12/21/49 on WPIX (Channel 11).
