Vienna 1905: A risque drawing is published and threatens to compromise the model, a doctor's wife. Artist Heideneck protects her and invents a name. But the name exists, and this respectable lady is drawn into the artist's shady affairs.
Vienna 1905: After a carnival party the famous painter Heideneck draws the wife of a society doctor wearing only a mask and a muff. The image makes it into the newspaper the next day, and the artist is pressed for the model's name, but since he can't reveal it, he comes up with the fictional name Leopoldine Dur. Unfortunately there is a respectable young lady with that name, who is drawn into the other characters' deceits and love affairs.—Tom Zoerner <Tom.Zoerner@informatik.uni-erlangen.de>
